HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
Every product photography project follows a clear, straightforward process designed to make working with WOOE Studios as simple as possible. From your initial enquiry through to image delivery and product return, we'll guide you through each stage, keeping you informed throughout the project.
Complete A Brief
1.
You complete a brief by requesting a quote for your product photography by filling in our brief Request A Quote form. Photography is a subjective business, so it's essential to have good communication with our clients before and during a shoot. Before we start your shoot we will work with you on a detailed brief of exactly what you want us to deliver.
Approve Quote
2.
We’ll review your brief and send you a detailed quote. You’ll receive an email with our quote, where you can easily approve it or request any changes.
Ship Products
3.
Send or drop off your products, securely packed to ensure they arrive safely. Please provide your most pristine items for the best results. Our professional studio can receive products from anywhere in the UK. As soon as your products arrive, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
Take Photos
4.
Once your shoot booking is confirmed, our product photography team will get to work, capturing your products with precision and creativity. Our fully equipped studio has everything needed to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your product images
5.
We’ll send your images to a private online gallery where you can view your proofs, approve them, or request changes. You’ll have 24 hours to ensure you’re completely happy with your product photography. Once you’ve accepted the proofs and made payment, we’ll upload high-resolution and web-ready files for you to download.
Return Products
6.
Once your product photography is complete and payment is received, we’ll carefully repackage your products and return them to you in their original condition.
It’s As Simple As That!
PROCESS FAQS
-
Simply complete our online enquiry form with details about your products, the type of photography you require and the number of images you need. If you're unsure what would work best, we're happy to advise. Once we've reviewed your brief, we'll provide a tailored quotation with clear pricing and timescales.
-
The more information you can provide, the more accurate your quotation will be. Useful details include the type of products, the number of items, the photography style you're looking for, where the images will be used, any specific requirements and your preferred timescale. Reference images or brand guidelines are also helpful where available.
-
Once your quotation has been approved, we'll provide the delivery address for our North East studio. You can send your products using your preferred courier, ensuring they're securely packaged to protect them during transit. We'll confirm as soon as your products arrive safely.
-
Yes. If you're local or prefer to deliver your products in person, this can usually be arranged by appointment. Please contact us in advance so we can ensure someone is available to receive your delivery.
-
Products should be packed securely using suitable protective materials to minimise movement during transit. Delicate or fragile items should be wrapped individually where appropriate. Reusing your original retail packaging is often the best option, provided it offers sufficient protection.
-
Products should arrive clean, complete and ready to photograph. Clothing should be freshly steamed where possible, while hard goods should be free from dust, fingerprints and marks. Taking a little extra care before shipping helps achieve the best possible results and reduces the need for additional retouching.
-
If labels, price stickers or protective films won't appear on the final product, it's usually best to remove them before shipping. If they're part of the product or packaging, or you're unsure, leave them in place and let us know your preference.
-
Products should be in their final sale condition wherever possible. Any scratches, dents, creases or manufacturing defects may be visible in high-resolution photography. While minor imperfections can often be retouched, providing products in excellent condition produces the most natural and cost-effective results.
-
Where possible, we'll always try to accommodate reasonable changes. However, significant changes to the agreed brief after photography has begun may affect production time or incur additional costs. We recommend finalising your requirements before the shoot begins.
-
Yes, subject to our studio schedule. If you have a deadline for a product launch, Amazon listing or marketing campaign, let us know when requesting your quote. We'll always do our best to meet your required timescale.
-
Turnaround times vary depending on the size and complexity of your project. Smaller shoots are often completed within a few working days, while larger or more specialised projects may take longer. We'll confirm an estimated delivery schedule when we provide your quotation.
-
Once your photography has been completed and approved, your images will be supplied digitally via a secure download link, allowing you to access them quickly and share them easily with your team.
-
We typically supply high-resolution JPEG files suitable for print together with optimised web-ready versions for ecommerce websites, online marketplaces and digital marketing. If you require alternative file formats, please let us know before the shoot.
-
Yes. We can provide optimised web-ready images alongside your high-resolution files, making them suitable for use on ecommerce websites, online marketplaces and social media without additional preparation.
-
Yes. If something doesn't match the agreed brief, we'll discuss the changes with you and make any necessary adjustments where appropriate. Our aim is to ensure the final images meet the agreed requirements before your project is completed.
